Its a very nice hotel with a pricetag to match. But at the rate you're paying there shouldn't be broken tile in the restroom etc. Service staff was excellent. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Lobby is very nice, very comfortable seating. Nice artsy high end decor and finishes. Rooms were similar, nice high end finishes, nice decor and fixtures. BUT the toilet leaked toilet water everytime it flushed, and the restroom door did not close properly, scraping the frame and the floor, making an obnoxiously loud noise. Told staff about it and they half fixed the issues. There was also bathroom floor tile that was broken and missing, which at this rate is unacceptable. Location is not the best but not the worst. Kinda far from the city center. I was relatively close once and took half an hour to walk back. Service: 5

Stayed here for three nights and it was a great stay in Rome. First - there are other reviews complaining about the proximity to main tourist sites from The Hoxton. Straight up it is a walk to some places but stop being lazy and enjoy this safe, non-touristy location. The hotel sits in a neighborhood/government center. Definite city feel without being over run by tourists (I get it I am one). Second - due to this location, you get to experience some awesome neighborhood restaurants/cafes/bars. I highly recommend two. Osteria Gemelli (AMAZING dinner experience) and Osteria Del Rione, phenomenal lunch for incredibly cheap. Third - the service here was second to none, from the front desk to the cafe, we were treated well every step of the way. A special shout out to Lorenzo and Fransesca at the Elios Bar. We had a night cap or a starting drink every evening at the bar. The cocktails were phenomenal with a rotating seasonal menu and true detail put into every drink by the staff. 10/10 would recommend The Hoxton Rome Service: 5
