Myself and my 12 other family members made a last minute booking for an early breakfast. The Hub were able to accommodate us and we had a very enjoyable breakfast - coffee was great, food was delicious and there were lot of yummy options to select from. Thank you! We had a bit of a mixed experience. They accidentally messed up our order, but to their credit they were genuinely apologetic, fixed it quickly, and even gave us a complimentary drink, which we really appreciated. The guy who greeted us at the door was very friendly and helpful, which gave us a great first impression. Unfortunately, the service wasn't great overall after that. The lady behind the counter wasn't very friendly, seemed to struggle with English, and didn't understand how to split our bill, which made paying a bit awkward. Her manner also made us feel uncomfortable, and we felt like we were being made to feel silly for asking questions. We also asked what was in the Iced Brownie Cocoa, and the waitress had no idea. It would be helpful if the menu mentioned that it contains coffee, as that's not obvious from the name. As for the food and drinks: - The Sweet Corn Fritters were really good. - The Brekkie Burrito was delicious, and I'm so glad they've brought it back to the menu. I added halloumi, but it was served on the side instead of inside the burrito, so I had to unwrap it to add it myself. If you order it, I'd recommend asking for the halloumi to be put inside. - The Hot Brownie Cocoa was yummy, but it was a small for $9.50, so it didn't feel worth the money. - The Iced Brownie Cocoa was really good and I would get it again. - The Iced White Chocolate was disappointing. It was basically just syrup, milk, and ice—no whipped cream or ice cream—so I would just order a vanilla milkshake next time. Overall, we would go back because the food was enjoyable and the atmosphere was good. However, we'd probably stick to a simple coffee, as the standard of the specialty drinks isn't quite there yet.
