I love love love it here, the cocktail choices are amazing along with the vibe and idea of the space. can't beat a cocktail on a big comfy couch. another cool thing is the books for sale + big library of books and board games available to enjoy while you're there! the prices can be a bit steep, this is Seattle after all so I've yet to grab any food as there's cheaper more filling options all around. I wouldn't let that stop you tho because every plate I've seen come by looks amazing. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Responding to the Owner (update): Your GM lied, and someone in line was extremely rude to me, so I left and told the person in line "You don't need to be so rude". That was the most "belligerent" thing that I did. I hope that your staff can govern themselves accordingly. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was really excited to check this place out. And this isn't a complaint against the establishment for their overall service and I understand their health codes. However. They posted on Instagram a that all dogs that can behaved are welcome. This is not the case. There was a book signing event and I was told to go to the host to get a seat by those on line. After the conversation with the host, a lady that was in the front of the line goes "BACK TO YHE LINE YOU GO" even tho I wasn't here for the book stamp/signing. The host also didn't say anything to really de-escalate. Overall definitely left a very sour taste for the experience and misinformation Having gone to many many cocktail bars and speakeasies, this place can use some customer service training for sure Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Eve, my GM has informed me you were belligerent to them and to other customers. We don’t tolerate that. I hope you find what you need elsewhere. --- In response to your updated reply: I believe my GM. They handled a crazy weekend with grace and efficiency. I know them, and I have their back on this. You, however, rated our food a "1" without having tried it. There are plenty of wonderful places you can patronize in Seattle. Please, enjoy them.

Love the vibes/ambiance, and the plan to have dedicated quiet reading hours. I've been waiting for this place to open since it was first announced! The only downside is the current prices; my beer was $12, and my friend's cider was $14. I'd love to be a regular here, but it's hard to justify when I can get a boilermaker across the street for cheaper than a beer at The Ink Drinker. I really want them to succeed, so I hope they give their pricing some more thought!
