Went to this pub as heard it had a new landlord, it was great to meet him and I must say Trish behind the bar made us feel very welcome, a lot better than before as when I went before it was very grubby, a huge difference and will definitely go back, I heard they will be doing food, now it’s cleaner I will be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went in today only to be told they are not serving food for 3 WEEKS. We got drinks but they were an absolute rip off - £3.50 for a medium sized pepsi max and almost £6 for an alcohol free cider, daylight robbery. I hope they look at their insane prices and lower them in the future as this is actually quite a nice pub, just wish someone had told us there was no food when we walked in as we were hungry and had to go elsewhere for food. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

We asked the Pilot to provide a buffet for my fathers funeral wake. It was all delicious, varied dishes catering for all tastes, in fact best buffet and price we have ever had. Well done Pilot staff. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
