Having slatted the culture village as being disappointing, we did enjoy the food here. Having been travelling for a month, having a plate of battered fish & chips (with tartar sauce) made a pleasant change from Korean fare. Very tasty. They do proper burgers and an all day breakfast too as well as a selection of other meals and snacks. Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We stumbled upon this little cafe by chance. Prices are reasonable. Loved the coffee, and their English breakfast is good, especially the skinless homemade sausage. The chef/server was friendly and always smiling. Happy to recommend. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

The Plate is one of the several artistic cafes in Gamcheon Village, sitting right next to the colourful staircases. Aside from drinks, they also serve simple western food like burgers and pastas. The place is quite small, with only the second floor for seating and the first floor for ordering, but you can have a good view of the village if you choose the window seats.We tried their Matcha Latte and burger, both which are not bad. Their fruit ade also seemed interesting from other tables. It was quite relaxing and enjoyable to spend our lunch there after walking under the hot sun. They also have English menu for tourists. Highly recommend the place!
