Thank you to Holly and her team at the Riverside for the help you gave me in arranging the wake for my dad’s funeral. From the moment we arrived, everything was beautifully organised. The buffet was excellent. The room was a prefect size with plenty of seating and tables and air conditioned (very welcome on one of the hottest days of the year) . Bar service was great. Lovely venue with beautiful views of the river. Thank you again. Service: 5

There is no denying that the location of this pub is superb. Effort has been made to accommodate children with a well executed play area nearby. Sadly though this is where the good points end. Staff are appalling, its a running joke how bad the service is when ever we do end up at this pub. Food is poor. Head a little further along the river to alternative local venues and avoid a disappointing experience at The Riverside.

We apologize that our service did not meet your expectations on this occasion or any occasion ..... We also note your comments regarding our food, but are unsure why you would visit us, if you dont like anything we offer? Given that the location is the only aspect of the Riverside Inn that appeals to you, it may be best to simply use the public right of way for your future walks along the river. Best regards,

We had booked for our stepmothers birthday, the views and staff were wonderful, but we have to give a special shout out to the pizza and chef! The family all had a different one and each of them were perfect! Absolutely delicious, would visit again just for the pizza :) Service: 5
