From the very moment when I was booking a table for 25 people online to the end of the night, everyone was simply so impressed. The Rook messaged to ask what configuration of tables and chairs we'd like best a few hours before the event. This was easy to respond to and made the night for mingling. When we arrived 3 of us ordered some drinks and food before the rest arrived. The drinks and food came promptly and were up to a very high standard. Delicious food (corn ribs, chips, calamari, edamame beans). While sipping away at the cocktails and grazing on the nibbles, a chef appeared and asked if we'd like to try their new menu item, which was House Baked Focaccia - Indian style. This was the most amazing bouncy, fresh focaccia I have ever eaten. With a smear of the flavour-infused butter, it was divine! We asked to speak to the chef again to share how delicious it was and that we had never eaten anything like it. Highly recommend and a big thank you to the chef for sharing this with us!
