What a treat to be able to order anything on a restaurant menu! My wife and I just had a morning breakfast date here and we loved it. The atmosphere is whimsical and gorgeous. The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable on the dietary restrictions that bring people in. Five stars all around. The whole experience was truly lovely and such a breath of fresh air compared to a typical restaurant experience with out particular dietary restrictions. We ordered some coffees, the Berries & Cream pancakes, a Sausage Biscuit, and a full order of the Biscuits & Gravy for the two of us. We had to take home two containers of leftovers due to the portions sizes. Everything was very good. We will definitely be back for more of this in our lives. Eating at The Safe Spoon was truly emotional for me, in the best way. I have autoimmune issues and haven’t been able to safely eat at a restaurant without restrictions, fear, or stress in years. Sitting down and ordering freely—no gluten, no dairy, no worries—brought me to tears. For the first time in a very long time, I didn’t have to explain, double-check, or compromise. I just ate. Safely. Comfortably. Joyfully. The food was absolutely delicious, but the peace of mind was priceless. I am beyond grateful for a place that takes food allergies and sensitivities so seriously while still creating amazing food. We already have plans to come back for breakfast this weekend, and I cannot wait. If you live with allergies, autoimmune conditions, or dietary restrictions—this place is a gift.
