first timer here and probably the last. there was 4 baristas behind the counter and when i walked in i was greeted by no one. i ordered an oat milk cortado and i overheard them talking about separation and that they hate making drinks with oat milk? i’ve had many oat cortados where that’s never occurred so i’m curious as to what kind of oat milk is being used. unfortunately my drink was not tasty at all i couldn’t get myself to finish it so i left unsatisfied. having an experience like this first thing in the morning kinda sets you up for the day so to have an unpleasant time sucks man. let’s create third spaces again no more hostility! 1 star. I went to the sensory lab on May 3, Saturday, in the evening. I got a cup of hot chocolate which had a scent of cinnamon. It was very tasty and different from the hot chocolate I tried in other places. The sensory lab had a great ambience with lots of seating areas. They also had free wifi, and it was a great place to just sit back, enjoy my hot chocolate and relax. The ambience there was also well suited to just get some work done on a laptop, and there were a couple of students working there. If I get a chance, I’ll definitely go there again someday!
