Ate delicious soles. Very nice staff who did their utmost to make it as pleasant as possible for us. And that certainly worked! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Cozy atmosphere, the starter (cold side kitchen) was served relatively quickly. Then things went wrong! We had to wait more than an hour for the main courses (warm side of the kitchen) and that is not really a pleasant experience with 2 3-year-old toddlers. When the main courses finally arrived at the table, 2 tournedos were completely overcooked, while we had ordered rare and medium. We sent back the one that was supposed to be rare and the one that came back was done well. In addition, the pieces of meat on the plate were very small (+/-180/190 grams for €32.50) compared to similar dishes elsewhere. So the price/quality ratio left much to be desired. The taste was good! We had to walk to the bar twice to order drinks as the service was sometimes chatting or hanging on the bar while the restaurant was full. The service was friendly! All in all, a review is a snapshot and you can enjoy it, but for us The Smokehouse was unfortunately disappointing. Kid-friendliness: They have some toys and something to color.
