The Thatched House launches online shop
Working in conjunction with our suppliers we have joined a not for profit online shop scheme. Called MYPUBSHOP.COM we will be able to deliver food ingredients, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and ready to eat meals for you to reheat at home, direct to your door, subject to social distancing ** requirements, and our delivery round limitations *
How to join:
• Navigate to mypubshop.com and register as a customer; it's an easy process and no card details are required to view the shop
• Search for The Thatched House to find our individual shop
• Browse the shop and if there is anything you want just add it to your basket
• Checkout and pay for your order (please note: the site charges a 2% fee on top of our price, this fee is to maintain the service including a very secure payment service but guarantees that any surplus will be donated to the NHS covid 19 fund)
• Select a delivery day and leave the rest to us!
we will contact you by email or sms to confirm the delivery day and time
This is very much a new enterprise for us and we do not know what to stock in the shop so we are relying on you to let us know what items you wish to purchase - use Facebook or email to let us know what you require, we will reply with a projected price to see if it's agreeable (we will not be able to compete with supermarkets - but we should still be reasonable)
* Our delivery round currently extends to Exwick, Foxhayes, St Thomas, Cowick, Alphington and Bonhay, St Davids and Cowley Bridge on the other side of the river - but please contact us to discuss other areas
** We will deliver as close to the agreed time as possible and expect you to leave a stout "bag for life" outside your door. We will place your order in the bag and ring your bell, then wait a distance away to check you have collected your order. Simples!
