Had a birthday gathering on a Friday night. My husband and I got there early so we popped into 1886 Lounge for a pre-dinner drink. The bartenders are sweet and funny and fun. We enjoyed a dirt martini and a perfect marg, both were properly prepared and served. We chatted with the bartenders until our table was ready. We had just been seated when the other 6 diners arrived. Orders were taken promptly and the tables around us filled up within 10 minutes. Our orders came out hot and fresh, or glasses remained filled, and the break, oil, cheese, and herbs were quickly refilled throughout the meal. There was some issue with the skin and tails still being on the shrimp in the fettuccine Alfredo, but the quality of the food and the flavor were excellent. The staff are sweet, friendly, and quick to take care of things. We ended the evening on the back patio with drinks and cigars as the sun set. We will be back, maybe in the fall when the outdoor patio space will be even cozier with a fire glowing in the fire pit. Thank you for a lovely birthday dinner. I opted for the bacon wrapped filet with mashed potatoes. I ended up taking 1/2 home for a wonderful meal the following day.

Great restaurant to come eat at nice calm atmosphere a real vault that is available to eat in our service name is Caitlin a very nice person hostes was wonderful. A great spot for a get together or romantic date. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Wonderful old building oozing with history and a monstrous bank vault, how beautiful! Lasagna with Italian sausage was legit! Wife had crab cake and roasted corn puree and said it was very good. Service was delightful. We will be back! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50
