The tearose is absoutely beautiful. It's an amazing place to have a great cup of tea and you will greatly enjoy the scenary of the outside terras. I would highly recommend having a cup of tea at this location during your stay in Deventer. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Location location location...that's what you pay for. Super nice place in the city center of Deventer. An attractive terrace when the weather is nice. Service is friendly. There is a choice of different types of high tea. However, if you have to eat gluten-free, you will be disappointed. Although I ate enough, the taste left much to be desired. The price-quality ratio is hard to find. In fact, except for the salad with chorizo, everything was very dry. Fortunately, there was clotted cream and jam, so the cake, brownie and scone were still somewhat edible. In fact, the scone was impossible to cut, it was so hard. During checkout, it was noted that the price was high for the quality delivered. The response was that I should have said that during high tea, then they could have done something about it. However, when clearing the table, the disappointing quality was already reported. In my opinion, everything was bought ready-made and left out of the packaging for too long. No unlimited tea. Refilling the pot with hot water is free, hot water with a bag costs €6.00. While I initially thought I would go back again because of the spot, on second thought it is not worth the drive from Enschede. The rest of my group enjoyed the homemade (?) delicacies.
