Great ambiance and nice decor! The food was good, just a little on the salty side for me. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £10–20 Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

We were celebrating 60th wedding anniversary, so we chose this charming pub. The food was faultless, I had the hake with chips and mushy peas, all the meals looked fantastic, especially the beef and red wine pie. The service was excellent, the young man was very attentive and professional. There was a band practicing in the main room, it was very noisy, but the waiter kindly moved us to a quieter room, which was much better. The loo’s were spotlessly clean and very well maintained. My only criticism is that there is very little parking only 3 or 4 spaces, and it’s a very popular place, in a narrow road. We managed to get parked outside someone’s house, something I don’t like doing. As we were a group of 6 people, we came in 3 cars, so it wasn’t easy to find everyone a place. I would go back, but we’d try to carshare. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30

Had my second Christmas meal at the The Three Crowns pub today, and once again the food was absolutely delicious. This is something that really deserves to be noticed and celebrated — the chef is doing an outstanding job. Consistently great food and a welcoming atmosphere make this place a standout. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in town; you definitely won’t be disappointed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
