If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I was on my way to the Ford-Wyoming Drive-In to watch a movie and stopped at Cold Stone because I wanted some ice cream before the movie. It’s my birthday month, I just got a new car, and I was genuinely trying to enjoy myself and celebrate. When I walked into the Cold Stone side, there were several employees working, yet we were not greeted, acknowledged, or assisted. We stood there waiting while employees helped people who came in after us. There are two sides to the location, Tim Hortons and Cold Stone, and I was specifically there for Cold Stone. What really bothered me was being stared at more than being spoken to. I initially wasn’t upset because I understand businesses get busy. But after standing there for an extended amount of time and still being ignored, I honestly started feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. A male employee eventually told us someone would be with us soon, but we had already been standing there watching other customers get helped. And I’m going to be honest — I’m Black, and the people being helped before us were not. I can’t tell you exactly why we were treated differently, but when you’re standing there being overlooked while watching other customers receive service, it absolutely makes you feel singled out. I’m a nice person and would have completely understood if someone had simply acknowledged us and said they’d be with us shortly. I eventually decided to leave and went to Twin Cones down the street instead. They were so nice, welcoming, and FAST. I was in and out, and honestly, the ice cream was GOOD . Looking back, maybe it was a blessing because I ended up spending my money somewhere that actually made me feel welcome. I came here ready to spend my money and left feeling completely disappointed. Customer service matters. I will not be returning to this location.

Only had 6 ice cream flavors available. Staff had poor customer service,was standing at counter for over 5 min never was greeted or helped. I left
