I've known this store for a long time, as it's in my neighborhood, it's very good. I've bought there a few times, but today, 03/20/2023, at 5:15 pm, I had a terrible experience. I saw a lemon pie in the window, thought it was pretty and decided to buy a slice. I went to the cashier, the cashier said I would have to speak to the clerk first, I spoke to the clerk who told me to pay first. I paid. When I went to receive the slice, the same clerk told me that she couldn't give me that slice, as she couldn't cut it. I asked "why?" She simply repeated that she couldn't cut it, that she was wrong, that she thought there was a slice already cut, but there wasn't. I insisted. She reiterated that she couldn't, that her superior wasn't present to authorize her to cut it. I asked: "When are you going to cut this pie that is there?" The clerks replied: "only tomorrow." I asked, "What was the difference between slicing today and slicing tomorrow?" They didn't give me a convincing answer. I had to go to the cashier to get my money back! Until now I'm upset, because there was the pie, it was there in the window, there was a customer wanting the pie (me, who had already made the payment), but they didn't sell me the slice. Well, if the pie wasn't supposed to be sold, it shouldn't be in the window! Why doesn't an attendant like that (the one who cited the superior's absence) have the autonomy to, in a situation like that, slice a pie and satisfy a customer? I understand that it is procedure not to slice pies at the end of the day, but then you don't put the pie there... Or, if a pie is in the showcase and you can't sell it, then put a sign on it with the information : "sold". Toca Doce professionals could, in my opinion, have sensitivity and care for the customer. They sold me the pie! I couldn't slice it, but they sold it to me? So, they should slice it, hand over my slice and then they, the attendants and management, should understand each other. I left there with my money in hand, but also frustrated.
