I want to congratulate Kevin and partners on the excellence of their food, service, quality and flavor. We found Toma's Cafe very soon after arriving in Cuenca. Since our first day, we were totally satisfied to the point that we went for lunch every day after that. We strongly recommend the Arepa Venezolana of carne desmechada and cheese, Sancocho, Agua'e Panela and the rest of delicious dishes they have to offer. My wife says, she could not wait for lunch time the next day, every day, to go eat the same arepa. Thanks guys for you excellent service and high quality of food. Congrats and good luck. Horrible food, You feel the fat reused, the chicha does not make it like the original and the meat of the empanada was without very ugly dressing. A FOODIE’s FIND OF AN AUTHENTIC VENEZOLANO . Located on busy street, it’s a charming little eatery serving outstanding Arepas, Empanadas, Patacones and Cachapas. The Arepas and Empanadas are made of corn dough, distinctively Venezuelan. There’s a choice of fillings . I am most partial to the Patacones, the Venezuelan sandwich,,, mixed meats and veggies with lovely house sauces between Green Plantain sheets instead of bread . For those with bigger appetite, the the full Criollo platter. Service is outstanding. Prices are very affordable! Highly recommended . Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options available
