My husband and I were at the restaurant when the black lady asked me to write a review of what I witnessed. What I saw was disgusting: the Mexican cashier had a bad attitude, and they treated her with disrespect and racism. This is not okay. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Hey man, I just worked a 12-hour shift. I was on my lunch break and saw your review, so I thought I'd check it out since that restaurant was 30 minutes away, and I live in Beaumont. Make it make sense. I saw those tacos and thought, cool! Tell me why I entered the bathroom, and it was broken. The girl at the cashier was rude; she had a nasty attitude and looked at me like, "Why am I in this restaurant?" I proceeded to order, and she still had a nasty attitude towards me. I paid for my order, and she acted like she didn't want to take my order. I ordered the same thing you ordered—the hard shell tacos, number 8. Tell me why a couple of people came in after me, and she treated them with respect and dignity but treated me like I was some poop on her shoe. I pointed this out to them, and they said, "Oh, she's new." That is no excuse to mistreat or racially profile someone. I was number 8, while the others were number 9, 10, and 11. Tell me why they had more items than I did, and their numbers were called before mine. Then, I asked for jalapeños, the cooked ones, thinking I’d get a whole jalapeño because she charged me 50 cents each. So, I ordered two. Tell me why she told me it was in the bag, but it wasn’t. After she called me, I noticed how she talked to the Mexican lady and how she gave me attitude. I pointed out to the lady how she was mean to me, but she had a cool attitude towards her. On top of that, she didn’t tell me the jalapeños were in the bag. I took everything out of the bag, and they weren’t there. Then she went in the back and brought me some pickled jalapeños when I paid for cooked jalapeños. Then she brought up the receipt. I said, "See, you charged me a dollar," and they brought me jalapeños that were cut into four slices. They gave me two of those slices from a whole jalapeño, charging me a dollar. I pointed out that you had posted about their restaurant on TikTok and maybe she should change her attitude. She racially profiled me, and the other customers agreed that she did too. I told them I’m not crazy; go look at the video. This place is racist towards Black people. If you are Black, don’t go here. She’s lucky I’m in my right mind, because the outcome could have been different. I got racially profiled by this girl and those Mexican cooks. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I have been going to Tony's mexican food for 35 years always amazing their food is really good my favorites are the bean rice and cheese burritos, cheese enchiladas shredded beef tacos chili relano burrito Tony's special burrito. Cheese Enchiladas are the best I can anywhere get them with onions no lettuce EB.
