The only reason I'm giving 4 stars, is because of the absolutely miserably rude 'Security Guard', doing nothing but standing on the stairs looking like he was on another planet. Reason being; I tripped up the stairs, and hurt my knee pretty bad. He did not look my direction one time. I asked him about the drink I spilled, asking if he'd be able to ask for someone to clean it up, and he totally ignored me, just continued looking straight ahead. Didn't ask if I was okay; nothing. Maybe he was just taking his job a little too seriously..? Total jersey vibes. But I did get a poppi and it was delicious! The wait was almost 2 hours, but we had a blast. Our server, (didn't catch his name) he was a blonde, chipper fellow. Super sweet, and an absolute boss of a server. Dude needs a raise. Price per person: $60–70

I have been to Topgolf Columbus several times, and unfortunately, the experience has repeatedly been undermined by frustrating customer service and pricing practices. The golf itself is fun, and the facility has a lot of potential, which is why I am giving two stars instead of one. However, almost every visit has involved some type of issue at the front desk or with the reservation process. Too often, the staff makes it feel like customers are inconveniencing them rather than being welcomed. My most recent experience was especially disappointing. I purchased and tried to use the Play More Summer Fun Pass, which Topgolf heavily promotes, but then discovered how many practical limitations and exceptions seem to come with it. I also tried to book bays for a small group/business outing and found the pricing structure to be unreasonable compared with simply booking standard bays individually. The event option appeared to cost significantly more while forcing a food and beverage minimum, and when I asked about booking separate bays at the regular price, I was told they could not guarantee those bays would be next to each other. That feels like a penalty for not buying the higher-priced event package. If a customer is willing to pay the standard advertised rate for multiple bays, it should not feel like they are being pushed into a much more expensive package just to have their group seated together. This has become a pattern: advertise deals aggressively, add limitations when customers try to use them, and make basic accommodations feel difficult unless the customer pays much more. For a venue that is supposed to be about fun, the experience too often feels transactional, inflexible, and frustrating. Topgolf needs to do better with transparency, fairness, and customer service. I would like to enjoy coming here, but the way reservations, passes, and small group bookings are handled makes it hard to recommend. Price per person: $100+ Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

I’ve been to the Polaris Topgolf several times now, and somehow always leave frustrated. Unfortunately, this latest visit was probably the worst yet. The service is consistently slow, the drinks are weak and overpriced, and if you don’t push hard for your reservation details, you end up stuck in the corner on the ground floor, where your waiter will forget you and the experience is very poor. During our recent visit, the floor area around our bay was so wet that our child slipped and nearly smashed his face on the table. When we mentioned the conditions to our waiter, he laughed and said, “Yeah, it’s like a swamp down here.” Not exactly reassuring and at no point did he care to get a towel or make any attempt to clean it up. We had a reservation for 6 people, but the seating setup barely accommodates 5 comfortably. I asked for two extra chairs behind the booth seating and was told it was “against policy,” even though other first-floor suites nearby clearly had booths, tables behind them, and additional high-top seating. Service only got worse from there. Drinks were forgotten entirely, then after reminding staff, we waited another 20 minutes for them to actually arrive. Also, beware of the gift card promotion. On a previous visit, we purchased gift cards during one of their “bonus card” promotions where you supposedly get money back. What they don’t clearly tell you is the bonus can only be redeemed $10 at a time per visit — which doesn’t even cover a cocktail. So if you spend hundreds on gift cards, you’re forced to come back over and over just to use the promotional value. When we complained, we were literally told that “everyone complains about it,” but that it’s hidden in fine print on a separate page. Overall, the experience feels overpriced, poorly managed, and intentionally misleading at times. There are too many good entertainment options in Columbus to keep wasting money here.
