I just got home from surgery and wanted to try this place because my friend had mentioned it before. I ordered for myself $ 2 others , I had a super torta, I’ve had few in my life, But this was otherworldly. The flavors were amazing and you can tell that the cook puts love into it. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Wheelchair accessibility: yes there was a lot of space to get around

Absolutely amazing spot! If you’re craving a legit torta, this place is a MUST. I ordered the Super Torta and my wife got the Milanesa Torta, and honestly both were incredible. The Super Torta was stacked with flavor — perfectly toasted bread, fresh ingredients, and packed with meats that all worked together perfectly. Every bite had that homemade, authentic taste that’s hard to find. My wife’s Milanesa Torta was just as good. The breaded beef was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and loaded with all the right toppings. You can tell everything is made fresh and with care. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the flavors are the kind that keep you thinking about the meal long after you leave. If you’re a torta lover or just want to try real Mexican street-style sandwiches, don’t miss this place. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommend! Their music was popping!!! Oceanside finally has a place that is specifically dedicated to the art of making Mexican sandwiches, a.k.a. Tortas. A "torta" is a Mexican sandwich, noted for its crusty white sandwich roll and overstuffed ingredients. Introducing Torta Time. I first heard about this gem in 2025 when they first opened. They are a small, family owned sandwich shop that is located off of Mission Avenu off of the 76 in Oceanside California. I had a great experience enjoying the Milanesa Bistek & the Breakfast Chorizo Torta. Although the inside is rather small, it is kind of cozy and great for a quick bite. But it is not a place I would go with a large group. I appreciate that they have free Wi-Fi and a clean bathroom. For being a sandwich shop, they have a pretty sizable menu. The service is fast and friendly, and it typically is not crowded if dining in. I love that they get their bread, especially made locally for them and that is especially important for their sandwiches flavor. The portion size is actually perfect for me and it is stuffed with whatever protein or flavor you desire. I especially love the flavor of my breakfast chorizo Torta. I can also appreciate that they use family recipes within their menu and also have a creamy pineapple Jell-O, which was very delicious as dessert.
