We always recommend Trak Lounge Bar to event promoters as one of the best venues in Melbourne to host a CLUB event. They offers top-quality audiovisual capabilities and full cooperative support from bump-in to bump-out. As the event management team behind the recent Avatar event at Trak Lounge Bar, we’ve noticed a few negative reviews and low ratings related to venue entry and interactions with security. We want to respectfully clarify that while we managed the event and the production, entry procedures and patron screening were handled entirely by a licensed third-party security provider, operating under legal safety obligations. Security personnel make real-time decisions based on their assessment of individual behaviour, and while we understand this can sometimes lead to frustration, those processes fall outside both our and the venue’s direct control. That said, the Trak Lounge Bar team was extremely supportive and professional throughout the planning and delivery of the event. They provided full cooperation and went above and beyond to help us create a smooth and memorable experience for guests. Rating the venue poorly based on external security actions does not reflect the hard work they put in behind the scenes. We do empathise with anyone who felt uncomfortable, and we’re actively communicating with the security company to help prevent such incidents in future events.
