A small, inconspicuous Italian restaurant that attracted us with its unusual menu. Instead of the same mixture of pizza and pasta everywhere, there are a wide variety of dishes from the Italian regions. We tried the Linguine alla Mediterrana with polpo and prawns, as well as the rabbit leg alla Siciliana. Ordering took a while because the operators were both busy in the kitchen. This only works because there are only a few small tables in the restaurant. But the food came very quickly and was very nicely prepared. Both dishes tasted really good. The only drawbacks are the hard polpo pieces and the overcooked noodles in both dishes. But overall a really great, slightly different Italian restaurant with a great ambience! Big disappointment. Big pranks. rascals at work. NEVER AGAIN. We always wanted to try the Rossini II restaurant and last Saturday we did. The welcome was warm and cordial. As a starter we had ordered the LARGE antipasto caldo platter for the 2 of us for 22 EUR. Our table neighbors had ordered the small version of the platter for EUR 14 and received exactly the same size as us. Only we paid 22 EUR and not 14 EUR for the small one. My wife ordered the ravioli ai spinaci for the main course and I ordered the only linguini on the menu, namely the linguini frutti di mare (fresh seafood in a slightly spicy garlic sauce with leeks and braised cherry tomatoes). My wife liked the raviola. The portion was a tad too small and the raviolis were a bit too big. The linguini I got didn't match what was on the menu at all. The sauce wasn't slightly spicy at all, without garlic and without braised cherry tomatoes. The dish was bland and only had a bit of leek sauce on it. When I commented that the stewed cherry tomatoes were missing, the waitress replied that only the Mediterranean version had tomatoes and to "avoid discussions" she had handed me a few sliced and fried cherry tomatoes shortly before I had finished eating. How stupid do they actually think the customers are? In the end, the waiter gave me back 5 EUR too little. When I pointed this out to her, the waitress handed over the 5 EUR without hesitation, without checking and without apologies.
