My opinion is that I’ve read a lot of the reviews and agree with most of them. I’ve only eaten at this restaurant twice and I’m not impressed at all. I don’t know where some of these people eat on a regular basis to give this place a good rating but they obviously haven’t been exposed to good food. I don’t have anything negative to say about the service. They were pretty good. I had a Cuban sandwich. It was not a Cuban sandwich in any way shape or form. One slice of ham and one slice of what they say is roast pork a pickle and cheese does not compare at all to a Cuban sandwich. It was awful. My husband had the shrimp and grits. He loves those like crazy. I had some and they are really good. The prices are a little over what they should be but every restaurant’s prices are. I can’t believe how much they charge today for food. I cook almost every single day and for what they charge I would be rich. I went to culinary school and I know the restaurant business and how it works, that’s why I’m not in the restaurant business. The only reason I’ve been back to this place is because I live about 20 miles away and only go into that area for medical reasons otherwise I would of never of heard of them. Not surprised though. I will never go out of my way to go to this restaurant. Not worth it.

I love Trip's Diner ! The staff is always super friendly and on top of their game. The food is delicious. My only note would be the coffee is not good, which is why I had to remove one star. Their breakfast is the best, especially their breakfast quesadilla. But breakfast without good coffee is not a full great full breakfast experience.
