Walking in the store in a cold rainy day. During the whole trip Aomori has been raining non stop. This is the last meal I had during this trip and it was the best one. The owner is the sweetest person I’ve met in Aomori. He is also preparing one of the nicest Japanese curry you’ll ever have. If you speak basic Japanese it’d be best, however with the language barrier, the owner showed us things so we can understand what’s on the menu. The spices used in the curry were amazing, it left a tiny zing after taste. It’s very different from all the curries I’ve tried before. It has been 10 years since its establishment. I had the fried garlic curry and it was phenomenal. Google shows it wasn't open, but a sign on the door indicated it was, so I entered at 1030. The shop owner is very kind and made me feel welcomed!

One of the best Japanese curry rice that I have ever tried in the quaint city of Aomori, run by the chef-owner who is not only good in cooking but also a talented singer (the shop loops the very nice song he sang). The two-tone True curry rice and the garlic curry rice are their signature dishes. They were very special and authentic, especially with the smoked duck and wild vegetables. We also added beef ball toppings freshly prepared by the chef. Towards the end of the meal, the chef was so kind and offered beverages on the house with small maple layered cake, and ushered his guests out personally. Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
