I recently tried the True Food Kitchen location in Cherry Creek and had a really good experience overall. Parking in the area was a bit tough, but once we got inside everything moved smoothly. The staff was friendly, service was quick, and the wait time was much shorter than I expected for how busy the area can get. I ordered one of their healthier bowl options with grilled salmon, sweet potatoes, snap peas, avocado, grains, and a green sauce that added a lot of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced without feeling too heavy. The salmon was cooked well with a nice char, and the mix of textures and flavors made it one of those meals that feels both healthy and satisfying. The restaurant itself had a clean and relaxed atmosphere that fit well with the Cherry Creek vibe. I can see why this place is popular for people looking for lighter, healthier meals that still have great flavor. I would definitely go back and try more from the menu. Second time at True Food Kitchen and I love it even more. It was my husband’s first time and he actually liked it, which says a lot since we’re both pretty picky. Everything was super fresh. The edamame dumplings are literally addictive, and the Ancient Grains Bowl with salmon was amazing! The pistachio pesto pairs perfectly with the veggies and the grains. The puffed sourdough with honey ricotta was sooo good. The margarita pizza was just okay. Drinks were great too! Loved my grapefruit martini with basil, and my husband (very picky about his Moscow mules) really liked the blood orange one. Service was warm, the bar staff was lovely, and what we assumed was the GM was very attentive and checked on us. The open kitchen was very clean. Only note: I preferred the shrimp from my first visit over the salmon, and the mule could be even better with a little fresh mint. The double espresso was surprisingly one of the best I’ve had around here. We have dined here many times. We always enjoy the atmosphere sitting inside, but the most recent time, we were sat outside and taken care of by Nicole. The inside is definitely a different vibe than the outside yet you receive the same great service. On this particular night, we ordered multiple appetizers and split a meal. Nicole spaced our courses so well that we never felt rushed and our table never felt crowded which could happen quickly with the tiny tables. Our plates were cleared before we received our main dish and she even went above and beyond to split our curry into two bowls without us asking. The service is definitely a reason to visit here and also the food is delicious. We had the hummus with the flatbread and veggies. The hummus has so much flavor with the added toppings that it’s good with the veggies or the flatbread which is like a cracker. The butternut squash soup was a thick, creamy soup - great flavor profile - very unique. The air fried fries were okay with the sauce. But the curry with the green chicken is definitely something i can’t stop thinking about. It was deliciously unique, and had many more veggies than most curries. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free, egg free is good here and you don't feel like you are missing out. They also have a seed free, air fried selection of foods.
