Very disappointing experience at True Food Kitchen. We ordered the poke bowl and the Norwegian salmon, and unfortunately both dishes had such an unpleasant, strange taste that neither my daughter nor I could eat our meals. The flavor was noticeably off and well below the quality and freshness we have come to expect from True Food. What made the experience even more disappointing was the service. Our waitress clearly noticed that we had barely touched our dishes, yet she never asked whether something was wrong or why we hadn’t eaten our food. There was simply no concern or attempt to address it, despite two nearly untouched entrées sitting on the table. The vegetable crudités were fine, but the portion of dip was so small that there wasn’t nearly enough for the vegetables. Overall, a very disappointing meal and experience. True Food is normally a place where we expect fresh, well-prepared food and attentive service, but this visit fell far below that standard. When two guests leave virtually their entire entrées untouched, I would expect the server to at least ask if everything was okay.
