Quite simply filthy. Food on every table all over the floor... Everywhere. Food was basic fast food. Not any worse or better than any other burger joint.

A Twisted Root in the airport, are you kidding me. Awesome. No more McD's or other fast food when I want a burger and beer waiting for a flight. For you travelers just passing through DFW airport, Twisted Root is a Dallas icon. The original store in Deep Ellum was featured on Diners, Dives and Drive-ins. While this is an airport location, they have captured some of the funky feel with the brick wall and odd art. The airplane wing over the bar is a nice touch along with the view past the bar where actual planes are going by.

The burgers here are thick and juicy on a tasty bun. It's very good. I like the local craft beers they have on tap. I would go out of my way to find this if I was in terminal A and had time to eat.
