I'll start off with our server Jose was nice and no complaints on service. The views from the restaurant are great as well. The food was really bad though. We had a group of 9 people. We hiked all day and were starving, and the food was still bad. That says a lot. Out of all of the dishes we ordered, only 2 were average or better. The burger I ordered was really dry, probably the worst burger I've had in years. The BBQ combo is awful as well, extremely dry brisket, rubber chicken. The fries were cold on one plate, no salt on another and way too salty on a third. The trout was okay, a bit salty for my tastes but some might prefer it. The cornbread was actually good. The huckleberry lemonade was also very tasty and refreshing. Some of my friends did enjoy the pasta primavera. Also, older reviews said they enjoyed the huckleberry pie, they didn't have that on the menu when we went. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The one choice to eat at Rising Sun, the menu is small but the food is good. The staff is phenomenal, Barb and Jose rock!!however the restaurant manager, he looks like he is not getting paid a penny. Breakfast is listed til 10, however they stop serving at9:15. The beef brisket is delicious. The restaurant does have vegan entres, the black-bean soup is delicious (warning heavy in the cumi Wifi is only available at Rising Sun main building, and restaurant, however the wifi does not reach the restaurant options outside of the park (Glacier’s Edge Cafe). The restaurant has a wonderful view of Red Eagle Mountain Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1
