A very well organized tavern with an explicit menu respectful to the potential eaters, some dishes are exquisite (stuffed zucchini flowers with rice), the wine list inclusive (most tastes are satisfied), the yard beautiful and the sunset view absolutely unique. Don't forget to try the homemade spearmint liquor at the end of the meal! Kudos to the proud and hospitable family who owns the place. The best tavern in Lesvos! We first came to Vafios 5 years ago, were so impressed by the sunset view, the restaurant atmosphere and the food that day. And exactly 5 years later, we decided to celebrate our special night there again with a large group of our friends and family. We had a perfect dinner, thanks to the owners, Nikos, who provided all kinds of service with a smiling face, and the amazing chef Giorgos, who cooked wonderful meals. In this family-run place, we felt like one of the member of this family :) They gave us an unforgettable evening with their clean tablecloths, magnificent presentations and very polite service staff. When you are on the island, you should not pass by without stopping by Vafios Taverna because it is a really special place! We will be there again very soon with a large group.
