Vagabond Kitchen & Tap House 672 N Trenton Ave, Atlantic City NJ 08401 September 7, 2021 Tuesday- 7:30 PM for dinner 3 Adults Atmosphere - 5 stars Food - 5 stars Service - 5 stars Background - A business trip and I was supplying the choices tonight. I had bookmarked several restaurants that were featured on Dinner, Drive In and Dive show on the Food Network. Provide a list and the group picked here, I bet you knew that. Atmosphere - We sat on the front deck out side. Being able to relax outside was a great way to unwind. A few pesky mosquitoes but the view of the calming water was worth it. I killed one of those pesky mosquitoes which should greatly help reduce the population. The back "patio" area looks like a party zone, perfect for sporting events with all the TV's!! Food Drinks - I had two very local beers both by Tuckahoe Brewing Co. The first was from the can The New Old School IPA, blah while the second was a draft and excellent Hold the Line. Both were IPA's, my favorite. Side - My meal came with potato chips, I think they were Ruffles, they had Ridges. I did not upgrade. I was focused on the sandwich. Meal - The made it easy for me to find out what Guy had while visiting for his show. So had the Three Way, bow chicka wow wow, and it sounds naughty. Because it is, BBQ heaven three meat sandwich. Brisket and pulled pork topped with bacon all smother with a BBQ sauce that had a little heat. Heat was quickly put out with beer. The meat was topped with a coleslaw and honestly I could have used a little more. I know I can not believe I just typed that. Service - The hostess quickly sat after asking if we wanted inside or out. Outside, the front or back. If were there to watch sports I think the back would be a lot of fun. The waitress and cleaning crew were on point. I saw one of the cleaners spray down the chairs after taking care of the table. Future - Yes, perhaps on my next visit to the area.
