A lovely hidden gem in Nagoya. The owner is very warm and friendly, and the restaurant has a traditional atmosphere that feels welcoming from the moment you step in. As the night goes on, the place gets livelier, and it’s clear that many guests know the owner personally, which creates a really cozy, local vibe. It seems to be run by just two people, who look like they might be siblings, and they do an amazing job. Unfortunately, I don’t speak Japanese, so I couldn’t chat much with them, but even so, the hospitality came through clearly. The other guests were also very friendly. It’s a perfect place to eat and drink at a relaxed pace. The restaurant is on the 3rd floor and a bit hidden, so I was hesitant at first—but I’m really glad I didn’t turn back. As a bonus, we even got a free Japanese-style chicken soup. I will definitely come back again when I’m in Nagoya. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
