I went in around half an hour before closing. There was a bit of a rush and a wait which I didn't mind seeing how intently the staff behind the counter, especially Diana, was trying to properly dress plates, serve waiting customers, take new orders and pass those orders onto the chef. In the rush, Diana still acknowledged she saw me waiting and let me know she would be with me shortly. I reassured her I was in no rush. When she got to me, she was the most friendly and helpful even while being overwhelmed. It's my first plate and Diana was kind enough to guided me through her favourite order which I of course got. I didnt get one, but the milkshakes look superbly thick and tasty. They were definitely a favourite as almost everyone else ordered one. Hindsight, I definitely missed having one when I got home. The food was boxed up with love, I got sent on my way with a warm smile and I didn't make it into the house before eating because the smell was enticing me. The plate definitely hit the spot for a late night comfort meal. I am not from ROC, so I can't say what a plate is supposed to taste like and this was very easy to eat, so I'd say it's good! We have ordered from Vaskos for a long time, we normally have always ordered plates. Today my husband went in and we ordered a grilled chicken sandwich that their menu says “ comes with lettuce and tomato “ , when he ordered he was told it was extra and when he showed the owner their website, she said “ that’s not our menu “ .. okay so he bit the bullet and ordered his burger . 25 dollars later for two sandwiches.. I couldn’t even bite into my sandwich.. the chicken was literally a piece of muscle .. disgusting.. and so not like Vaskos .. my husbands burger was also disgusting. It didn’t taste like their burgers .. a very stale taste . So upsetting and disappointing.. I’m not sure what happened here but never again . Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Family oriented, clean, organized and DELICIOUS! Vasko’s has turned into the heart of Rochester. It offers food that tastes good along with a feeling of rochester’s history! Rochester, NY is known for its plates, and Vasko’s on Park demonstrates why! Great place and great vibes! Keep up the amazing work Vasko’s on Park.
