I was expecting great tacos and these were mediocre at best. My mom ordered her veggie bowl with no red onions and there were red onions in multiple things in her bowl like the salsa and the mixed veggie. This could be a super cool place and the location is great, but I would not recommend this place if you want great tacos. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section

The food here is fine but over priced. It's not bad, it's not great, it's fine. It definitely makes me think of Sysco food being dressed up slightly different. For 2 people you're in for $30+ easily. They don't do Mexican that great or Indian that great. We won't be back, only because there's so many good options around.

Velvet Taco hit on tasty, creative dishes overall with one miss: the brisket bowl. We ordered the Slow-Roasted Angus Brisket Bowl and Seasonal Veggie Bowl, and found ourselves loving the vegetarian option. Made with flavorfully-seasoned vegetables, the Seasonal Veggie Bowl had a nice variety of textures that kept it exciting to eat. Each bite was something new, and we found ourselves scooping up every last bit. The brisket was chewy and honestly lacked flavor, but the other parts of the bowl (rice, toppings, sauces) made up for it. What really made the dish was the cheese-crusted tortilla it was served with. It added a pleasant crunch and richness to the bowl that we really enjoyed. All in all, we found the portions to be adequate for the cost. We thought it was quite reasonable for what you get and will be sure to return... next time we plan on ordering their tacos!
