This place is super cute. I got the honeydew milk tea with boba and it definitely met my expectations. My only complaint is that the floor is sticky and has been every time I've been.

Let me start with the disclaimer that I've only been here once and I believe there is definitely potential for a higher rating - I just did not happen to experience that this time. I got the flaming brown sugar milk tea, which was extremely sweet - it even made the Oreo from the Oreo brûlée drink almost taste dark-chocolate-tier bitter. As I have a sweet tooth, I did not mind this. The unique aspect of the drink came from the brûléed bits that gave it a nice crunch. Aside from that, it wasn't stellar enough to warrant the $6+ cost. My main gripes with this place came from the shop's strong smell of curry (which apparently is from their curry-flavored popcorn chicken..), which was a bit bizarre for a bubble tea place, and the service. The workers were all very nice, but their recommendations were questionable. My brother (who got the oreo drink) and I asked for recommendations on what to toppings to put in the drink. I expected him to recommend boba, which was the default/safe answer, but hoped he'd choose a more unique option from their many other options they had. Of all the options, he chose lychee jelly ...for both of us. Lychee....for a milk-based drink... We took a leap of faith and both ended up with milk drinks that tasted strongly of lychee....maybe it was some twisted social experiment? In any case, our experience this time was subpar, but I think if we order properly next time, there is definitely potential.

Seen ViVi Bubble Tea all over New York and glad it finally arrived on the East Side. They have a lot of unique and interesting drinks I haven't seen in most boba places before
