Vibora SoundSystem is a breath of fresh air compared to all the professionally designed but soulless places popping up in town to cater to our increasingly gentrified city. This place is a work of love! it has identity and soul and one can see the attention to detail and care in everything, from the food to the music and theme, all packed in a small cozy footprint. Aptly named, one could say the music is the main dish here, with consistently viby psychedelic jams booming out of a very impressive “sound system” ;) I recognized some tracks I love but never heard publicly and I Shazamed quite a few as well, however the whole experience is a feast for the senses. Food was excellent! we dared to order the octopus which had no right being this good so far from the ocean, I even kept the dish to swipe it clean with the crust of some of the best pizza I’ve had. If you like spicy + sweet food get the Vibora pizza I loved it. As for drinks they make the best Negroni I’ve had in Medellin. The decoration is quirky with Japanese ukiyo-e prints, snake (Vibora) themes, and some other surprises for good observers. All in all a great place that I want to come back to! Would love to try some other dishes like the sandwiches which looked really good, also to go early to get a terrace table. To the auteurs: my one quip is that it was a bit hot, I know yesterday was a particularly hot day, but please invest in a fan to blow out the hot air!
