I used to try different bakery in every city I visited while traveling, and Victoire is definitely one of the best I’ve found so far. I’ve visited a few times during my three-week stay in Sydney, and I keep coming back! I’m a big pastry fan and very picky when it comes to bread, but everything I’ve tried here has been excellent. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and I especially love that they use seasonal fruit in their pastries. There are lots of options, but I highly recommend going early because their baked goods sell out quickly. My personal favorites are the plain croissant, rhubarb pie, seasonal plum tart, and their French breads. The atmosphere is also lovely—you always feel warm and welcome here, and the owner is so friendly and kind. Definitely worth a visit if you love good pastries and bread! Visited them in Cammeray years ago. Glad to come across them again and see they are established and thriving in Rozelle. All the elements have the right balance of texture and taste, and leaves your mouth with a clean aftertaste. You can tell they are indeed very high quality. The owner is lovely too. Thank you for the recommendation of the Ruby (Strawberry & Rhubarb Tart) - crunchy shortcrust matched with fresh, restrained sweet & sour fruity filling, what not to love. I've been coming to Victoire Boulangerie for years, and it’s hands down the best French bakery in Rozelle. Their pastries are simply outstanding—flaky, buttery, and full of authentic flavor. The pain au chocolat is perfection, and their baguettes are consistently some of the best you’ll find anywhere. The staff are always friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that keeps me coming back. Don’t be fooled by the new fad bakeries that pop up—Victoire has been delivering top-quality, traditional French baking for years, and nothing compares. Be sure to get in early, though—it’s so good that they often sell out!
