Really disappointing - sat at our table for a good amount of time before being offered water even. Small plate was lovely, brisket was very bland & couldn’t eat it, dessert was nice. Waiter arrived each dish without cutlery…lots of small touches missing for fine dining $. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: A$100–120

We had such a wonderful experience at Ethos Restaurant, and a huge part of that was thanks to Michael Ferguson and the incredible food. From the moment we arrived, Michael made us feel genuinely welcome. His service was exceptional—attentive without ever being intrusive, friendly, professional, and incredibly personable. He took the time to get to know us and even addressed us by name throughout the evening, which made the experience feel so much more personal. The atmosphere was fantastic too. The nostalgic playlist filled with timeless classics created such a warm, relaxed vibe and really added to the overall experience. Michael also shared with us his well curated Spotify playlist. It's rare to come across someone who cares so much about making every guest feel valued. Michael is a real credit to Ethos, and we'll definitely be back. Thank you for such a memorable evening! A boutique restaurant located in the dining room at Links House Hotel. Hosted by Michael, the food was great, wine was lovely and a generally relaxed atmosphere. The chefs are great and you will be hard to find better in an Australian town. I hope they keep up the awesome work!
