Dear Layra, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we are truly sorry to hear that your experience with us last night did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, your visit coincided with an exceptionally busy evening, and we were not adequately staffed to handle the situation as smoothly as we would have liked. This is not the standard we aim to provide. Regarding the language, I greeted your group in Finnish but would have gladly switched to English had I realized it was needed. Our entire team speaks both Finnish and English, and we always want our guests to feel comfortable communicating with us. Concerning the food: to reduce waste, we prepare certain items such as bread according to expected demand. Due to the unusual busyness of the evening, we ran out, and we regret that this was not communicated to you already at the time of ordering. For drinks, it took about 20 minutes for the first order to reach your table, which is still too long by our own standards. Normally, we are able to serve much faster. As for our wine list, while “vinho” means wine in Portuguese, our goal is not to focus only on Portuguese wines but to showcase quality wines from many regions and price ranges around the world. More than half of our wines are not available in Alko, and we also highlight rare cellar selections by the glass, rotating weekly. We are sorry if we failed to make these options clear to you during your visit. Finally, we continuously train our staff on our wide selection, but as our list is extensive, not every team member can always provide detailed information on all wines without support. Experienced staff are always available to assist when needed. Once again, we apologize that your visit fell short of expectations. We greatly appreciate your feedback, which helps us improve, and we hope you might give us another chance in the future to show you the experience we truly strive to offer.
