Went on a busy Saturday night,the food was running late,as they were very busy and we were offered a free round of drink because of this,we accepted the drinks then the food came.. all fantastic food ... We tried this place for the first time recently. Overall the food was good, with the notable exception of the Chorizo. I'm not sure how they managed to make it feel so soft to the point of disintegration. Everything else was tasty. Portion sizes are very good and as I'm sure most people coming here for the first time have done we over ordered. The main let down for me was the atmosphere, the interior feels a bit dated and cheap and the tables weren't big enough for 2 with food drinks on them. We did have a nice time and we would eat here again. Hopefully a bit of updating to the decor is on the cards. Viva Cuba is consistently superb. The food portions are huge for the price and everything is absolutely delicious (especially the meatballs & enchiladas). We always end up over-ordering but they are happy to let you take the extras away for later! The staff are really friendly and the beer & cocktail range is great too.
