The food was incredible...very authentic. The couple that owns the company were super nice and personable too.

I met Martin and his beautiful family several years ago at a mutual friend's gathering. We're both from Texas, dabble in the music realm, and love cooking food. Needless to say we hit it off. Soon after we met, he offered up some of his homemade tamales. I don't think I set the phone down before I was headed to his home to pick them up. They were off the hook, and I hadn't had tamales in over 15 years at that point. I offered to buy them from him, and he politely declined. Fast forward to the next Christmas season, ... Same offer. Come pick up some tamales, Jeff. I offered to buy as many as he would cook...No dice..., but we devoured the 2 dozen he gave us. Last week I was surfing Facebook, and discovered he is now offering them for sale. BAM! I put in my order for 12 dozen pork tamales and picked them up just a couple of days ago. When I arrived to pick them up, I was met by his lovely wife, Kelly, in their lovely warm home....And the smell of fresh tamales. We spoke about music, work, our families, and cooking. This man truly has a passion for the lord, good deeds, and cooking some amazingly great food. He offered a trial of his chicken tamales and they were out of this world. Then he blessed me with a jar of his bbq sauce....2 days later, and it's half way gone, and we haven't even put it on a piece of bbq yet. It's utilitarian and has been fantastic on everything. We dove into the tamales when I arrived home, and demolished two dozen within the first day. Needless to say, Martin, his family, and Viva Los Tacos are a home run. Don't think about it, ....RUN to Viva Los Tacos and discover the passion and excellence Martin has achieved.
