Located just across from Maylands Station, Volare is a unique and charming place with a relaxed, alternative vibe. Each area of the restaurant has its own distinctive décor, making the space feel creative and full of character. As you walk in, you'll find the bar at the entrance, and further inside you can watch the open kitchen where the chef prepares the dishes. We started with the crispy fried polenta, which was absolutely delicious. We also ordered a fresh ceviche with radish, followed by a beautifully seasoned beef dish that was packed with flavor. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and very enjoyable. The atmosphere is casual and laid-back, which adds to the overall experience. Just keep in mind that all orders are placed at the bar. If you're looking for somewhere a little different with great food and a welcoming atmosphere, Volare is definitely worth a visit. Price per person: A$60–80

You’ve been wanting Maylands on a Saturday night after dinner looking fire a cocktail and are having much luck. Suddenly you walk past this intimate little spot across from Maylands station. You walk into a cosy, comfortable spot welcomed by two of the best hosts in the area. Sit down, say hi and prepare to stay a while. The cocktails are exquisite the company wonderful and next thing you know you’ll be telling all your friends about this gem. Food servings are phenomenal, if on the small side. Think of them as wonderful accents to a good night of cocktails and vibes. Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: There’s a moderate selection of Veggo options. You won’t starve off you come to drink!

The crew on deck were absolutely amazing! Can’t fault the service as they were engaging and interested. We had a few dishes and each was simply delicious. Love the Black Forest Espresso Martini and the best Bloody Mary for some time. They saved our dessert for after the show we had gone to watch @ Roxy Lane. That was also incredibly tasty!!
