I don’t know what the requirements are to be an employee here, but the majority of the staff that I’ve ever interacted with at this Walmart is just flat-out ignorant. They do not want to be bothered; they are not helpful. Here’s a real-life example: one day I needed assistance and saw two ladies who were preoccupied, so I waited 15 minutes patiently to let them figure out whatever they needed to figure out. Once I saw they had a solution, I approached one of the ladies, and I asked her if she could unlock the cabinet for me so that I could get a couple of products. She literally looked me in the face and said nothing—absolutely nothing—and had a look on her face as if I was bothering her. I didn’t react because, at this point in this Walmart, I didn’t expect anything above that level of service. However, there was one lady who was able to help me, and she was nice. I will say that her interaction was definitely a rare experience at this Walmart. Needless to say, I can’t wait until Walmart becomes fully automated and we do not have to spend our money on overpriced items. I already deal with inflation, and I understand we all have bad days, but I remember when customer service used to be a standard. Now, it just seems like they’ll hire anyone without any type of interpersonal communication skills. So, my advice to this Walmart, while Forney is still growing, is to do yourselves a favor and evolve your workforce, because eventually other consumer staples and retail giants are going to continue to come to Forney. The current customer experience may limit the store's appeal to a narrow demographic, particularly given the pricing challenges, leading other potential customers to seek alternatives. These alternatives, while potentially more expensive, typically offer service that justifies the cost and I’m hope and expect this Walmart to loose market share IF they continue to allow their workforce to behave ignorantly

* * * Do not get trapped here * * * The lazy attitude. Nobody making eye contact. Everyone’s head is down. I pulled in without appt.at 4 pm They said they could pull right in after ONE car. They did. 45 minutes later and they just open the hood on the FIRST car. I ask how much longer. At 5 pm. I was told “another 45 minutes on the car in front of me..then another 1.5 hours for mine as well”. THREE HOURS? Just tell me that up front !!! Not pretend it’s “right in” and then it’s THREE HOURS. All 08 people working could care less. Moving slow. Head down. No eye contact. Just don’t give a flip. “It’s not their money. Right”? I don’t expect special treatment. I do expect to be told the truth. You don’t have to lie and trap people. This WalMart auto is terrible and getting worse.

This Walmart Supercenter Store is extremely excellent in terms of store appearance, product locations, customer service and staff- friendliness. I am extremely grateful for the privilege to be a loyal customer to this Walmart Supercenter Store here in Forney, TX.
