Years ago, I used to come to this coffee shop often. It was one of my favorites in my rotation of independently owned coffee shops. After moving back from Northern CO, I recently visited again. All I can say is WHAT HAPPENED? What once was a cute, quaint, neighborhood gem now looks like an uninviting dump. The place is filthy- dust & dirt covering the vents, unvacuumed floors, stuff in the bathroom covered in "crud", dirty mirrors & walls. The outside patio area looks completely ignored, it's also dirty, no flowers or plants, trash cans and rodent traps. They've put a wall up inside that now cuts the room in half and you can't access the baristas inside anymore, you have to go to a filthy outside window. There are no condiments for the drinks or food, they don't even have straws. I really don't like to blast businesses on social media, but what they have done to this place is so disappointing that it quite frankly makes me mad. It's in a great area and was once a hidden gem. I don't know if they have new owners or if they just don't give a damn, but it's definitely not the place I once loved. If you want a far better vibe and experience, drive a mile away and go to Neon Cowboy, they actually care about their business. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Lovely neighborhood coffee shop. We had our pup along, so we sat outside on the patio. Seemed like a regular place for the local residents to walk over for coffee in the morning. Nice neighborhood. We got lattes, a blueberry almond croissant and chocolate croissant. If we could've changed one thing it would be asking the staff to warm up the chocolate croissant (if that is an option). 3 things I enjoy about wash perk: - location to wash park -patio with pups and friendly locals! -coffee has been good (IMO) 3 things that I’m less keen on as a customer: - verbally asked if I’d like to tip - happened a few times ( not every time), straight up uncomfortable -the ordering set up - if i want to sit inside first i need to order +wait outside. its just a bit odd to me as a customer ( I can see how it helps efficiency on their end though) -iced matcha lattes- milky water taste and I’m not sure how they make them but mine was not good especially for $6+. Meal type: Other
