Went here over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Food was top tier, music was good. Most importantly the service was amazing. Next time I am Nottingham I will definitely be going back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Terrible experience! Booked following a groupon deal gift for 4 people. Advertised as 4 cocktails & 8 dishes, menu extremely limited! Many items not available, everything was clearly just cooked in a fryer. Vegetable samosas came as Vegetable spring rolls. Sweet potato fries never appeared! Quality of food was terrible! We waited an hour to be served and sadly left following the food being served. We did try it, but the fat was dripping from the food, poor quality frozen food! The photos of food on the website & groupon are not at all a reflection on what is served! Tried to get a refund through groupon, but of course nothing to do with them as coupon has been redeemed! Would not recommend!

Bookings made via Groupon are heavily discounted and they operate on a set menu. Currently, we are a cocktail-led bar, with a focus on drinks, music, and a late-night atmosphere. First time visiting Nottingham and had Lunch at Wax Bar. The food was delicious and honestly I mean delicious. We were served by Emre the owner who knew exactly what to recommend and ensured that we were satisfied with our orders. Service was 10/10 would highly recommend this spot. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
