We tried this place after reading the reviews and it is AMAZING! The fried pork belly is just like from Louisiana. The dipping sauce (ahi) probably spelled wrong, but it is similar to pico de galo is top notch. We also tried steak street tacos and beef and chicken empanadas. Both were great. Definitely skip the chains and support this local small business! You won’t regret it! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We are visiting family from China and as native Californians we were craving Mexican/Latin food. We went in without knowing the Mexico v. Ecuador game was on, but it was such a happy accident. The vibe was amazing! The food is delicious, the servings are hearty, and the service was excellent. On top of that, each time Mexico scored they came around with shots of tequila. 100/10 would recommend! Come support this local business whenever you're craving tacos, arepas, etc. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place is INCREDIBLE!!! The food is some of the best in Tacoma and does and excellent job blending Colombian, Mexican, and American cuisine. My personal favorites are the birria tacos but I’ve been here multiple times and have enjoyed every dish I’ve tried on the menu! Also the service is great and personable! My wife also has a gluten allergy and they are able to accommodate and provide her food she never thought she would be able to have again at a restaurant. I cannot emphasize how incredible this place is! I would give 6 stars if I could! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
