May 26,2026 - got hungry so I opened my phone and look for nearby fastfood. I was contemplating if I should go to Mc Donald or Wendy’s near my house on main street and sepulveda blvd. So I decided to try Wendy’s since I never been there before. I checked their mobile app as continued guest and check out their combo breakfast. I choose their breakfast baconator combo for $6.69. So I walked inside the store thinking that maybe I can just order inside than using the mobile app. Come to find out the price inside the store is like $8.19 combo. I ask the lady why it’s different from the mobile app and inside the store. She doesn’t know. So I showed her what’s on the mobile app and she was awe that it’s way lower than the one on their menu list. So I told her that I will just order online while I’m inside with her. Then when it asked for a zip code, the price changes. It becomes $8.19 same as the inside menu. So I asked the lady again for the second time why it’s like that. She said, she doesn’t know. Then I start to think why would they mislead people from the app vs the inside menu list. After thinking about it, I decided to walked out. Then I noticed at the parking lot that I was the only one ordering food and the inside store was empty. Drive thru has no customers. But across Home Depot, you can see Mc Donald Fastfood have a busy line in their drive thru and there are people going in and out of their location. Then something hit my mind, maybe there’s something wrong at this Wendy’s. So I went inside my car and left the premises.

I had a horrible experience at the Wendy’s on Main St. in Carson, CA. My wife went there around 7:15 PM and placed an order for us. I ordered a medium spicy chicken sandwich with an unsweetened tea, and she ordered a medium fry and a deluxe double bacon cheeseburger. After I started eating, I got through about half of my fries and found a used round Band-Aid in the food. It was absolutely disgusting. I immediately called the restaurant expecting basic customer service, an apology, a refund, and for the issue to be taken seriously. Instead, I spoke with a woman named Gabby, who refused to accept that the Band-Aid could have come from that restaurant. She kept insisting there was no way it came from her staff or location because of their procedures. That only made the situation worse. We do not have those types of Band-Aids in our home, and I had only taken one bite of my sandwich and eaten a portion of the fries before finding it. When I went to the restaurant, Gabby doubled down and continued denying responsibility. She said a new shift had just come in and acted like it was impossible for something like this to happen. That is not how a customer should be treated after finding something unsanitary in their food. To make matters worse, the order was already incorrect because they gave us an extra drink we did not order, so the idea that every procedure was followed perfectly does not hold up. The correct response should have been, “I’m sorry you found that in your food. We will refund you immediately and remake your order.” Instead, I was met with denial, defensiveness, and poor customer service. Gabby and the staff need to be retrained on food safety, customer service, and how to properly handle serious complaints. I will never return to this location, and this experience has honestly made me question whether I will ever eat at Wendy’s again. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Beware of "The Wendy's Scam". Walked in cause I wanted to try a burger, and didn't want to go to McDonald's nearby. Ordered their #7 Bacon burger which showed a double patty next to it for $14.29+taxes. The cashier then asked me if I wanted the single-double-or triple patty. What? I said the double cause that's what I saw for 14.29. She said no, that one was more. I said then why mislead me in the first place? The manager said the same thing, and that comes down from corporate. Well, if nothing on the menu is trusted to be what it is when I order it, then I guess I can't trust anything else. Walked out this place. Beware of the Wendys Scam. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
