Irritated as all outdoors. Driving home from a long championship track meet in Reno we stopped by Wendy's in hayward on Mission near Jackson. I went through the drive through and ordered 2 $7 biggy bags bacon cheese burger one reg spicy and one regular nuggets with one watermelon lemonade one spirt light ice on both 3 chocolate chip cookies. Make home and my son bit into his burger and it was raw mind you I asked for everything fresh and it was no one else in line behind us. We pulled to the front and patiently waited for our food as we was starving and tired. I went 7:30 in the morning to return the burgers ask for my money back just for that. It wasn't about the money it was the principal of the matter and it turned our stomachs being we had eaten everything else already. I get there in the morning the inside was closed so went back through the drive through. Just so happen the manager on shift was david that would help us however when I told him what happened he looked confused and said the exterminator will be there at noon. I took a deep breath and ask him what does that have to do with my situation as I handed him the bag with the burgers in it. He repeats himself and I tell him to look in the back and look at the burgers. He looked and said OK as if nothing. I replied so I would like my money back for those burgers because I don't trust to eat anything else from there. He looked at me like I was crazy and proceeded to fo back and forth with me like I did something wrong. He closed the window went to the register and did a couple of things took out some money opened the window back up and said $5 and fifty something cents. Im just out done one with the food and the other with the customer/communication. This is crazy. My son said he will never eat Wendy's again it was such a turn off and awful experience. Price per person: $10–20

I used to order from this location almost weekly, but this location recently removed combo meals from DoorDash. A Medium Dave's Double combo used to cost $14.86 (pre-tax / pre-delivery). To order the same things a la cart would now cost $17.84... That means, given DoorDash's fees and the additional tax, with a $4.50 tip, what used to cost $22.95 is now $26.25. I hope the $3.30 of shameless profiteering was worth it, because you've effectively lost me as a customer until you bring back the combo meals at a reasonable price. And given the changes that Wendy's has been implementing nationally, like the shredded lettuce and smaller chicken patties, the overall quality is starting to tank. Wendy's is becoming a ghost of it's former self with the enshitification and greedflation taking over. Wendy's used to be proud of it's square patties because it stood for a company that didn't cut corners. Dave Thomas is rolling in his grave right now. 2 stars for the new food quality. 1 star for the greedy profiteering on DoorDash. 4 stars for Atmosphere because it's still a nice location. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

You know I really used to like Wendy's they always tasted fresh and hot juicy and flavorful but nowadays the meat tastes sad and the bacon is paper thin and they barely put any of it on anymore. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2
