Stopped here for lunch while traveling because there were no other restaurants in the area. The only good thing was the ordering was easy on the kiosks. Service was slow, the order was incorrect and the food did not taste good. The fries were the only good part of the food. They were hot and fresh. Plus they do not have the full Wendy’s menu available. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

December 13th, at approx 10:45pm (central time) I approached the register at Wendy's @ the Iowa 80. I was met with the most obnoxiously passive aggressive black man approx 60 years old ever. I apparently made the "mistake" at glancing at the huge tablet used for order taking that said Dine in on the screen. As to be respectful, I turned to this guy and asked "are yall still open?" I don't like ordering at a place if there near closing. I understand the frustration from that. It was 15 minutes before 11. This guy answered ny question by saying "you don't order there, that's dine in only" followed by "we are only doing takeouts." Now I'm confused because he just told me 2 different things. Because he'll be handling my food, and out of respect, I replied "yes it's to go." He then raised his voice and aggressively said "that's what I'm telling YOU, that screen is for dine in only" as his upper lip was shaking. What is this, The Twilight Zone? It's currently -3 degrees outside, and I marched through the snow 1/4 mile because all I could think about was Wendy's chili. And I'm met with this horribly rude guy??? I just told him forget it and walked away. This is my 1st negative review, but I bet it's not the only one he's received. It was bizarre... Atmosphere was great, the clerk was the issue... Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
