Angel was absolutely wonderful! She was so sweet, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we walked up to the register. She had a positive attitude, was very patient, and made sure everything was correct with our order (even during rush hour). It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely makes your day a little brighter, but Angel definitely did that. Whataburger is lucky to have her on their team. Passing through from Texas.. 8 hours on the road and man did this team do amazing. Angel was up front working register and she was so kind and patient with us even though we tried ordering the whole menu. She seemed happy to be there and to serve us. As for the kitchen staff, they did amazing too. Read some other reviews and I completely disagree with anything negative. Food was amazing, service was amazing, even though it was very busy inside and drive thru but they were working hard and our food came out perfect. Stopped here for a late dinner. We were able to get our order placed through the drive through and pulled around to the second window, as directed. They must've been going through a shift change, because it took a while to even pay for our meal. Once we paid, we still had to wait a while for our food. That's the only negative of the experience. The employees were courteous and smiled as they interacted with us. The food was prepared as ordered and came out hot. While the double smokehouse burger is a limited-time item, I think it should be a mainstay. My wife enjoyed her burger and my daughter enjoyed her grilled cheese. The gravy for a fry dipping sauce is a nice touch. Wouldn't hesitate to return to this location.
