For me this venue has some good and bad qualities. The venue is awesome, its right on the water with lots of atmosphere and sights. The live music is amazing. The food and menu is great but the service and consistency is less to be desired. I was served by multiple different bartenders and some charge different than others. I felt like some were being honest with the pricing and some were upchanging to get extra tips out of people. Definitely be aware of the pricing when you come to this venue. I really hope they figure things out and get consistent bc the location is beautiful but the staff needs some work. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

We visited Whiskey River Upper Deck on a beautiful Saturday night. The views were gorgeous, and the outdoor area is spacious and a great place to spend an evening. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow, despite the restaurant not seeming overly busy. Our order came out incorrectly, and while it was partially corrected, it still wasn’t right. After waiting so long, I didn’t want to send it back again. Our waitress was very friendly and appreciative of our patience, so I don’t blame her personally. The wings were amazing, and the sandwiches were good, but the mac salad was greasy and the tater tots were a little cold. Overall, the atmosphere and views were fantastic, but the slow service and order issues made for a disappointing experience. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

If you want ambiance, look no farther than Whiskey's Upper Deck at the Port of Rochester. I can't say enough about the view. As for the food...it's your average bar food. I had chicken finger with fries and my husband had a salad. Not the worst or the best. The service was okay but I don't think that was our server's fault. They seemed understaffed like most places. She was pleasant enough but we had a longer wait than average for the food. I hope the owners work out the kinks because they have a gem of a location. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30
